On November 1st, 2005, WaterSmart Environmental, Inc. announced the creation of its BioWastEnergy Division. BioWastEnergy will provide operations, maintenance, and marketing services for the company's wastes-to-renewable energy projects known as BioWaste Energy Regional Industrial Parks. These services include:

The industrial parks will engage in biodiesel production using microalgae and in fish production and processing while generating Electricity, Methane Gas (a near equivalent to natural gas), Carbon Dioxide Gas, Class A Biosolids, Liquid Fertilizer Concentrate, and Reverse Osmosis Water. The Carbon Dioxide Gas will be beneficially used in both biodiesel and processed fish production activities. The co-products of electricity, natural gas, biodiesel, biosolids, processed fish, and liquid fertilizer concentrate will be marketed at a 20% discount from retail. The technology fully complies with all Kyoto Protocols that protect against global warming. It took the company almost ten years to overcome both technical and marketplace barriers in developing this unique technology.

No other company worldwide has yet been able to develop a technology that reverses global warming. A complete business model has recently been drawn up and project developers have been hired throughout the world. The parks will be developed in the same manner as all other real estate projects. High quality permanent jobs and a cleaner and cooler environment are always created with each and every regional biowaste energy industrial park.
