December 17, 2009 - Alden Enterprises and Tumbleweed Enterprises together complete the feasibility study of BioWastes-To-Renewable Energy, Biofuels, Organic Foods, and Water Independence for the Kansas City Greater Metropolitan Area.  The proposed project will be implemented as a Technology Confirmation Center for the world to visit sometime in 2011.

 

The technology will enable the total greening of the Kansas City Greater Metropolitan Area of about 2 million people.  This area consists of the Kansas counties of Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami, and Wyandotte along with the Missouri counties of Cass, Clay, Jackson, and Platte.  The biofuels of biodiesel and renewable methane gas will be directly produced by the greenhouse gas emissions from the two coal fired power plants located near the project site.

March 30, 2009 - Renewable Carbon Dioxide Gas is now available from WaterSmart Environmental, Inc.  In the anaerobic digestion of municipal solid wastes (MSW) two gases are produced, namely carbon dioxide gas and methane gas.  Since each gas is produced from a renewable biowaste, namely MSW biowastes, both such gases are also renewable - by definition.

 

Carbon Dioxide gas, when liquefied, has many excellent industrial uses such as for coal mining, textile fabric cleaning, water treatment, and refrigeration.  When used for coal mining, the resulting coal can be called green coal because it is being mined using renewable resources, namely renewable carbon dioxide gas.
