WaterSmart Involvement: Attending and Speaking The California Economic Summit catalyzes public and private sector commitments to the triple bottom line: simultaneous growth in the economy, improvement in environmental quality, and increased opportunity for all. To create a sustainable and environmentally sound water supply—and to provide more reliable sources of water to residents and businesses alike—California needs to conserve, capture, and re-use one million more acre-feet of water each year for a decade. WaterSmart will participate in the panel, One Million More Acre-Feet of Water, addressing innovative strategies to help achieve this goal.
