Building a business case for a large scale project can often feel like the biggest burden. But how can you ensure once you've made the investment that your project continues to go off without a hitch? As utilities embrace new technologies and begin to implement new systems in their operations, they need to understand what will be required of them to get the job done right and what processes they can put in place to protect against increased costs or extended timelines. In this WaterSide Chat we will hear from an experienced project management consultant discussing industry best practices for managing system upgrades such as installing AMI or making a change to your utility's CIS system. Additionally, we will be joined by a utility Customer Service professional to share her experiences overseeing project implementations including what went well and where improvements could have been made.
