- The devil is in the details of project implementation. It’s crucial that utilities pay attention to all details, including those that appear insignificant.
- Utilities must make sure everyone buys in. Participation from each department at the utility is key for implementation success.
- Goals and objectives need to be established early and revisited often to keep the project focused.
Nicole Naassan has over 25 years of experience in the energy sector and specializes in project management and customer back office systems deployment and integration. Nicole has been the lead on feasibility studies, procurement activities, and program management for multiple clients as they deploy Smart Meter/AMI and other related technologies. Prior to joining UtiliWorks, Nicole was the Operations Director for Constellation New Energy where she managed operations and billing supporting over $1 billion in revenues annually. She managed numerous projects including business critical software system installations and upgrades, business process improvement and automation.
Jessica Henderson is a Customer Service Specialist with the South Tahoe Public Utility District. Jessica began working in the field with meters over 10 years ago and has since moved her way up to now oversee and administer South Tahoe Public Utility District’s AMI and WaterSmart systems.
